There’s a solution, of course: People who are incapable of long hours or heavy lifting or repetitive motions or deep thinking or whatever other demands accompany a specific field of endeavor should seek or create other opportunities.
Not everybody can be a firefighter or prize-fighter or technology geek or creator.
But everybody can be something.
The trick is to find or create opportunities that are in line with our skills, interests, abilities, and capacity for work instead of trying to force entire industries to conform to our own individual needs.
